
JILL OLIVER

Jill Oliver is a Chicago-based actor, writer and filmmaker. She recently won Best Producer at the Montreal Women's Film Festival for Stars in the Water, a short film in which she also acted. The film went on to win Best Comedy Short at the Chicago Shorts Film Festival and Best Short at the Saugatuck Film Fest, and it has been officially selected for the Women's Comedy Film Festival in Atlanta, among others. Jill also acted in, co-wrote and produced the short film Luteal, which won Best Screenplay at Festival Au Cinema and was an official selection at Toronto Short Film Festival, Midwest Independent Film Festival, Reeling: The Chicago LGBTQ+ International Film Festival, to name a few.
Jill has developed and is currently pitching Spirit Force Five, an original adult animated fantasy-adventure series based on her critically acclaimed play produced by The Factory Theater in 2018. She also wrote her first feature, The Cottage, which is currently being pitched in Ireland by producer, Grace Odumosu.
She spent nine years as an ensemble member of The Factory Theater, where she produced, directed, wrote and acted in over a dozen shows. When Jill hasn't been knee-deep in the world of Chicago theatre, she's collaborated on a variety of commercials, voiceovers, independent films, web series and television.
Jill received her BA in theatre from Columbia College Chicago and trained with the Dublin Institute of Technology's Theatre Conservatory. She's represented by Gray Talent Group.
